- Hello all~
I apologize for the lack of communication since we've been in Seattle. It's been rather hectic and ever changing.
Don is well.
We've had another donor delay.
#4 had a medical deferral, #5 declined. We're on to #6. Our next transplant date is mid-November. The blessing is that we'll have more time to get Don on a lower dose of steroid and we're working toward radiation type treatments for his skin to get it in the best condition possible before transplant. These will be several times a week up to the transplant day.
He's receiving most excellent care and attention.
We've been staying with family and plan to move into our own place this coming Saturday.
